All the information you need.
Accomodation
Your cat will have a safe and secure cabin, which is cool in the summer months and heated in the winter months.
From the spacious runs, your cat can see it's neighbours. We have toys for the kittens, and find that the older cats enjoy a bit of bird watching!
However we do encourage you to bring favourite playthings including small scratching posts.
Food
Adult cats are fed twice a day, unless you ask otherwise. Older cats and kittens are fed according to individual needs. We provide 24 hour care and supervision. We stock a wide range of cat foods to suit all tastes - but if your cat has a favourite, let us know and we will endeavour to have it in stock when they arrive.
Health
This is our prime concern over the period that your cat will be at The Arabella. Scrupulous disinfection minimises the risk of ill health, together with a thorough daily cleaning programme of your cat's cabin, sleeping boxes and run.
If your cat requires regular medication such as pills or diabetic care, we are more than competent in providing this service. Should the need arise, we will call in a Veterinary Surgeon whenever we consider it advisable. Any and all Veterinary costs will be settled prior to release.
We will not usually accept:
1) any cat without a valid certificate of vaccination against Feline Enteritis and Feline Flu. Unless Veterinary proof is provided your cat has been treated for fleas, it will be treated at your expense on arrival with Frontline Plus.
2) any cat which on arrival, shows signs of ill-health about which we have not been advised.
Please contact us beforehand if your cat has a health problem.
Collection and return
Collection and return is available for a small fee, which covers our time and transport costs. We pick up and deliver at mutually agreed times. For details of the cost of this service, please contact us well in advance.
